Juniper partners with e-Qual

PARIS, France  – October 19, 2021 – Juniper Networks, a leader in secure, AI-driven networks, announced today a partnership with e-Qual, an expert in IT network optimization and security, to provide customers in France with an enhanced SD-WAN solution. The partnership enables users to benefit from the combination of Juniper’s innovative Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) technology with e-Qual’s expertise at understanding and optimizing network infrastructures for their customers.

One of the first users to take advantage of the pairing of Juniper Networks Session Smart Networking™ (SSR) solution with e-Qual’s expertise in network implementations is a leading international microfinance group whose goal is to provide financial services to small businesses and under-served populations in developing countries. This ambitious project was implemented for this microfinance player working with a major international satellite communication operator, Telespazio France.

e-Qual was chosen by Telespazio due to its international experience in complex geographical areas, such as Africa, and thanks to its expertise in deployment of managed services. Previously the local internet feeds the microfinance group had access to were often unstable or backed by poor infrastructure. By working with Juniper and e-Qual, they will be able to bring network resiliency to their efforts by adding satellite internet connectivity across all sites, using Juniper’s tunnel-free SD-WAN approach to free up valuable bandwidth, without compromising performance. Other benefits include global network visibility and the ability to strictly manage access to financial data at each location. Juniper Networks Session Smart Router™ enables the network to speak the language of applications and services, adapting automatically to the requirements of individual sessions and user segments.
